Family Day

Kids get in FREE on these Saturdays!
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Family tour at 1:00 pm

Create art, engage in hands-on projects, discover and be inspired. The museum’s popular Family Days bring fun to everyone with an afternoon of hands-on activities, special programs such as performances and book readings, and family-friendly tours of current exhibits. Come enjoy everything the museum has to offer.

Family Days are free for children 12 and under, and always free for museum members. Regular museum admission applies for all others.

Join us for a Family Day all about the Russians at Fort Ross, in conjunction with the exhibit The Tsars’ Cabinet and in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Fort.

Join us for a Family Day to celebrate Chinese and Chinese-American culture, in conjunction with the museum’s exhibit on Santa Rosa’s Chinatown.

In conjunction with the exhibit of Chester Arnold’s paintings of trees, come enjoy this Family Day about nature, landscape, and the arboreal.

Come experience the fall exhibit Tools in Motion and the museum’s annual Artistry in Wood show, with a Family Day about tools and woodworking.

This Family Day will celebrate the museum’s annual Day of the Dead exhibition.
